The Royal Thai Navy Medical Department (RTNMD) has developed a medical services plan to facilitate and support initial first aid and emergency medical services as well as professional medical advice to personnel and crew members from all participating countries who become ill or injured during their ongoing participation at all assigned sites and events under the umbrella of ASEAN IFR 2017.
While initial first aid treatment and medevac to the designated hospitals is to be covered by the Royal Thai Navy (RTN), all participating navies will assume financial responsibility for costs of hospitalization of their own personnel and crew.

Beginning November 12, 2017, the Medical Regulating Operations Center – MROC (Emergency Call: 1669 or 1719) will be set up and running by the RTNMD at Muang Pattaya Hospital as the coordinating center for 7 Medic Stations which will be dispersed at all venues where events related to ASEAN IFR 2017 are held including:
